Resident Wellness

  • The definition of wellness, in this context, is a feeling of well-being and a sense of fulfillment coming from emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, & professional health that leads the physician to perform at an optimal level.

What is Wellness?
  • We strive to create an environment and culture that provides the residents, with optimal levels of stress and support in a dynamic fashion to foster the learning process and fulfill the goal of training residents to be the best doctors they can be, so that instead of just surviving, they are THRIVING!
  • At KPOC, wellness is defined by the residents.  We realize that wellness is multifactorial and must remain fluid.
